Eastminster School is a college-preparatory liberal arts independent day school. The first class of nine Kindergarten students, enrolled in the Fall of 2004, has grown to 163 students in grades K-10 from twenty East Metro zip codes. The student body represents a diverse racial, ethnic, and religious mix unique to area schools. Eastminster holds accreditation by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC); and membership in the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and the Georgia Independent School Associations (GISA).
