About Middle School
Class Structure supports the goals set for Eastminster School's students...
- There are three classes per grade
- There are 15-18 students per class
- Middle School includes grades 5-8
The middle school curricula prepare students for the demands of upper school work including Advanced Placement courses in English, history, calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, economics, political science, government, art, music, and foreign language. Eastminster maintains all students can successfully complete rigorous upper school work as long as they receive proper preparation. Hence, the lower and middle school coursework will rely heavily on students reading, critiquing, and debating the central moral themes of great literature, instruction in advanced mathematics, lessons in the life sciences and physics, and instruction in the birth and development of Western Civilization.
